Day #14 of the Orca Film Fundraiser is all about PERSISTENCE!

There’s days, especially on Mondays, that life can feel a bit overwhelming or you’re wanting to go back into the weekend, or the sea…. and just breathe.

I found these unique puka shells while snorkeling in the Hawaiian seas. I always got excited, especially finding the larger than average pukas, like these two. It always felt like a treasure given to me from the ocean, which they actually are! Created by persistent little sea-animals eating their way around a larger puka shell. I was taught by the magical waters to leave the full shells in the winter seas, because they became homes for the sea animals. During my weekly, and often daily swim-snorkels, I learned so much from spending time under the waves… lessons of patience, kindness, and breathing…. especially those times when life on land felt heavy and you’re wanting to give up! “Puka” means creation and new life, so keep on creating… and yes, breathe…

These sea creations are a perfect gift for a loved one, birthday, or special occasion. Designed and created in Hawaii, then placed on a soft black rope, with a sterling silver clasp.
